Puffin Billy R28 Recycled Dry-bag Tow Float

New for 2021, The Puffin R28 Drybag Tow Float is a 28L inflatable drybag tow-float with an outer made from recycled plastic bottles.  The tow float's bright orange colour allows excellent visibility in the water.  The inner waterproof compartment allows you to carry items with you during your swim.  Designed by expert outdoor swim company Swim the Lakes, it has extra features to increase your safety in the water including an integrated whistle.

The tow float is also available in a smaller 20L size.

Instructions for use
  1. Start with the drybag deflated
  2. Place your items in the drybag
  3. Roll the top closure down a minimum of 3 folds
  4. Bring the 2 clip ends together and clip it closed.
  5. Inflate the drybag float by using the fast flow valves on each side of the float.
  6. Attach the leash to the bag via the carabiner clip. Attach the waist-belt to the leash by threading the waist belt through the loop. The leash length can be adjusted to swimmer’s preferred length.
  7. Clip the waist-belt around your waist and away you go.
  8. To deflate simply take the dust caps off the valve, and push your little finger into the valve to deflate.

NB: Puffin recommend placing electronic items inside a waterproof bag, before placing them inside the drybag. Billy Drybags are not a lifesaving device. They are designed to be used by competent swimmers. Tow floats are not designed to be continuously submerged.

Sustainability

The outer fabric is made with rPET recycled plastic bottles.  The inner lining is PVC.  A PVC free tow float will be available in July 2021.
